Bulldog House, Barking, kept by Doctor Bulldog, was a Canine Academy for the sons of Gentledogs. It was quite the school, and very exclusive, for the Doctor only received nine pupils at a time, and even the nine, he declared, wore him to a shadow. Dr Bulldogs nine pupils include Charles Collie dog, Percy Pug, Master Dachshund and Pom-Pom the Pomeranian together with several members of the Terrier family, including the Scottish Jock of Aberdeen.
